Stephen Michael Pulos was a member of the men's cross country and track & field teams from 1972-75. He placed third in the 6-mile run at the 1975 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships earning All-America honors.
A two-time Independent College Athletic Conference champion in both cross country and track & field, Pulos, who also competed in the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships in 1974, was also the 6-mile run champion at the New York State College Track & Field Championships. He held school record in the 2, 3 and 6 mile runs when he graduated.
A former standout runner at Bath-Haverling High School, Pulos graduated summa cum laude from AU with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1975. He worked as a graduate fellow at Arizona State University after earning his Master's degree in psychology from AU in 1977.
He has been the school psychologist at Brighton Central School in Rochester, NY since 1978. 
Pulos and his wife, Theresa, reside in Fairport with their daughter Emily.
