Glenn Clinton is one of the most decorated athletes in AU men's track and field history, earning All-American honors five times in his four-year career on the indoor and outdoor teams.
He won a national championship in the outdoor 110-meter hurdles in 1994 and was second and third, respectively, in the outdoor 110-meter hurdles in 1995 and 1993. Clinton was outstanding indoors as well, placing third nationally in the 55-meter hurdles in 1995 and eighth in the same event in 1994.
Clinton was also the New York State champion in the indoor 55-meter hurdles and the outdoor 110-meter hurdles his junior and senior years and was state runner-up in both events as a sophomore in 1993. Clinton holds Alfred University records in the 55-meter indoor hurdles and the 110-meter outdoor hurdles and was a member of the 4-by-100 meter outdoor relay that set a school record in 1995.
He was captain of the track and field teams from 1992-95 and and was also a receiver on the AU football team from 1991-93.
Clinton earned a bachelor's degree in ceramic engineering from AU in 1997 and is currently a technical sales manager for UK Abrasives, Inc. He and his wife, Sharlene, live in Randallstown, MD, with their son, Jair.
