A 1976 Ceramic Design graduate, Frank was on the football, wrestling and track & field teams at Hope High School in Providence, RI before coming to Alfred University to play middle linebacker for legendary coach Alex Yunevich.
In 1975, "Buzz" was named to the ECAC All-East Team. During the 1976 season, the team won the ICAC Championship and he was named to the ICAC All-Star team. Logan was named team MVP his senior season.
Logan has been busy since leaving Alfred University, with an art studio, working for the Rochester City School District, a board member of the Southeast Area Coalition, the Asbury Day Care Center and the Monroe County YMCA. He is also treasurer of the Black Business Association. 
Frank and his wife, Anne, live in Rochester, NY with their two sons Bryant and Evan. "Buzz" owns Greens & Things, a landscape and nursery business.
