Alfred University Athletics

Any talk of all-around track & field performers at Alfred University must feature this man. When he graduated in 1925, he held seven AU track & field records. Scored in five and six events in most meets. Placed 4th in the decathlon at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia in 1925. Captain of both the football and track & field teams. Also won varsity letters in basketball. Known as "Big Mac."
