Kyle Miller (Corning, NY, Corning-Painted Post) received the first E8 weekly honors of his career on Monday.
The first-year was selected Co-Pitcher of the Week after leading the Saxons to their first victory of the spring season, defeating Cornell College in 14-2 fashion on Saturday. In his collegiate debut, Miller registered seven strikeouts across five shutout innings, totaling 89 pitches. He struck out three of the first six batters he faced. Overall, Miller held Cornell to just three hits, as AU jumped to an 8-0 lead by the end of the fifth inning of action.

The Saxons continue their spring break trip, with their next doubleheader against Elms College on Tuesday. The first pitch is set to take place at 2:30 PM.
