ALFRED, NY – For the second week in a row, Kyle Miller (Corning, NY/Corning-Painted Post) received Empire 8 weekly honors, being named as the Pitcher of the Week by the Empire 8 on Monday afternoon. 
 
Miller continued his impressive spring season with a decisive win against Martin Luther College on Friday. Miller registered his first collegiate complete game, retiring five batters via strikeout. Miller allowed just three runs, one of which was earned, across four hits. Miller collected at least one strikeout in four separate innings as part of his second win of the 2026 season.   
 
Miller was joined in the Empire 8 Weekly Awards by Samantha Vidal (Lake Worth, FL/Forest Hill) as the Softball Co-Player of the Week, Anlun Zwerver (Koog Aan De Zaan, The Netherlands/Blaise Pascal College) and Ricardo Alvarez Janik (La Orotava, Spain/Colegio Casa Azul) as the Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week and Cole Loewke (Hilton, NY/Hilton) as the Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.
