ALFRED, NY – Alfred University's Natalee Collins (Waterville, NY/Waterville) and Ashaya Wallace (Elmira, NY/Elmira) swept the Empire 8 Women's Basketball Weekly Awards on Monday.
 
Collins averaged 8.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals during AU's two games at the Puerto Rico Clasico. She led in rebounding in both contests. Collins had seven points in 2-of-6 from the field and 3-of-6 at the free throw line while leading the Saxons with a game-high nine rebounds against Johnson & Wales on Tuesday, Dec. 16. She also notched two assists and a steal during the contest. Collins registered a big performance with her fifth double-double of the season and ninth in her career in AU's win over Mt. St. Mary (NY) on Friday, Dec. 18. She was second in scoring with 10 points while grabbing a career-high 18 boards. Collins added a career-high four assists and steals to her stat line.
 
Wallace registered her first double-figure performance of her career during AU's victory over Mt. St. Mary (NY) in the Puerto Rico Clasico on Friday, Dec. 18. She led the Saxons with a season-high 12 points on 4-of-6 from the field, 3-of-5 at the 3-point line and 1-of-2 from the free throw line. In addition to grabbing three rebounds. Wallace averaged 8.5 points and shot 6-of-10 overall with 4-of-7 from behind the arc during AU's two games at the Puerto Rico Clasico.
 
Collins and Wallace were both named Saxons of the Week on Monday as well.
