ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University women's soccer team picked up its seventh Empire 8 Weekly Award of the season as Hannah Fuller (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Forks) as named the Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
 
Fuller had her sixth shutout of the year as she made four saves in a 3-0 blanking of Houghton College and then made five saves in a 1-1 tie against St. John Fisher College.
 
Fuller earned her first of the season on October 18. Her and the Saxons will next host Nazareth College on Saturday, October 30 at 6:00pm as they have already clinched a spot in the Empire 8 playoffs and could finish as high as second in the conference.
