ITHACA, NY – The Alfred University women's swimming and diving team fell to host Ithaca College, 248-49, in a dual meet Saturday afternoon.
Junior
Megan Steen (Portsmouth, RI/Portsmouth) placed second in the 200 backstroke (2:24.75) to pace the Saxons. First-year student
Ffion Collinsworth (Rochester, NY/Brighton) took third in the same event in 2:28.27, while senior
Samantha Brown (Spencerport, NY/Spencerport) placed third in the 100 butterfly (1:07.40).

Leah Zimmerman (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua) and junior
Kristin Brown (Olean, NY/Olean) placed third in the 200 medley relay (2:04.95). Juniors
Elizabeth Schiffhauer (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca East) and
Elizabeth Finney (Dryden, NY/Dryden), Collinsworth and
Kristin Brown teamed to take third in the 200 free relay (1:50.77).
AU wraps up its dual meet season next Saturday, Jan. 28, at 1 p.m. at home against LeMoyne.
