GREENWOOD, IN – Four members of the Alfred University women's swimming & diving team were selected to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for Division III, as announced on Tuesday.
Elizabeth Share (Macedon, NY/Palmyra-Macedon), Isobel Anderegg (Wellsboro, PA/Wellsboro Area), Alexandra Simmons (Danbury, CT/Danbury), and Mariam Kiragu (Gaborone, Botswana/Legae Academy) all garnered CSC Academic honors.
"It is reassuring to me as a coach that we are doing the right things when we have a good sized group of student-athletes receiving recognition for their academic achievements," Head Coach Brian Striker said. "We work hard in the pool and have achieved a great deal this season, but it is great to be able to give some recognition to those in our program who have mastered the balancing act of being a student-athlete!"
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
On the athletics side, student-athletes must compete in 75 percent of competitions or finish top-eight at a conference meet or participate in a national championship.
