ALFRED, NY -- The Alfred University women's swimming & diving team opened up the home slate at the McLane Natatorium with a 214-83 loss to SUNY Brockport on Saturday afternoon.
"This was a much better meet than last week, we swam and dove well and had a solid amount of in-season bests," Head Coach
Brian Striker said. "Certainly, we had better times than last week, and the deck presence was much better. I am happy with the work we put in this week, and look forward to doing it again over the next week."
The Saxons (0-2, 0-1 Empire 8) took home three individual victories in the loss, with
Kyra Harry (Gaborone, Botswana/Enko Botho) winning the 100-free with a time of 56.35. Harry also finished runner-up in the 50-free at 25.71 and third in the 50-yard butterfly checking in at 28.45.

Both Share and Harry were on the second-place 200-yard medley relay team with
Liv Richeda (Endwell, NY/Maine-Endwell) and
