Meet Results

ITHACA, NY – The Alfred University men's indoor track and field team competed at the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational Saturday afternoon. There were no team scores.
 
Sophomore Lindsay Piraino (Nunda, NY/Keshequa) paced the Saxons with a ninth-place finish in the 3,000-meter run (11:01.23).
 
Sophomore Brynn Hyde (Homer, NY/Homer) was 21^st in the weight throw (11.58 meters). Freshman Sophia Weiss (New Hyde Park, NY/New Hyde Park) was 34^th (9.59 meters). Weiss was also 32^nd in the shot put (8.97 meters).
 
Alfred is in action next on Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Empire 8 Conference championships at Ithaca College.
