Meet Results

BROCKPORT, NY – The Alfred University women's indoor track and field team competed at the College at Brockport Golden Eagle Invitational meet on Saturday, Feb. 20. There were no team scores.
 
Three Saxons turned in top-10 performances, with freshman Megan Sadowitz (Hopewell Junction, NY/John Jay) finishing fifth in the high jump (1.53 meters).
 
Sophomore Brynn Hyde (Homer, NY/Homer) was 10^th in the weight throw (12.46 meters), while sophomore Lindsay Piraino (Nunda, NY/Keshequa) was 10^th in the mile run (5:48.34).
 
Alfred is in action next on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 26 and 27, at the New York State championships at Ithaca College.
