Meet Results

BROCKPORT, NY – The Alfred University men's indoor track and field team competed at the College at Brockport Golden Eagle Invitational meet on Saturday, Jan. 30, placing 17^th.
 
Sophomore Lindsay Piraino (Nunda, NY/Keshequa) and freshman Megan Sadowitz (Hopewell Junction, NY/John Jay) each scored points (top-eight) for their team: Sadowitz with her sixth-place finish in the high jump (1.48 meters); and Piraino with her seventh-place finish in the 5,000-meter run (18:50.51).
 
Sadowitz also took 13^th in the 500-meter dash (1:30.61), while freshman Samantha Diaz (Brewster, NY/Brewster) was 18^th (1:44.16). Sophomore Brynn Hyde (Homer, NY/Homer) was 15^th in the weight throw (12.46 meters)
 
Alfred is in action next on Saturday, Feb. 6, at Ithaca College.
