ITHACA, NY – The Alfred University women's indoor track and field team finished seventh during the Empire 8 Championships held at Ithaca College on Saturday.

Freshman Megan Sadowitz (Hopewell Junction, NY/John Jay) tied for third with Ithaca's Gianna Folz in the high jump with a height of 1.53m (5' – 0.25"), and earning five of the team's six points.

Sophomore Lindsay Piraino (Nunda, NY/Keshequa) finished sixth in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 18:46.87.

The Saxons will next travel to College at Brockport on Saturday, February 20.
