Meet ResultsHOUGHTON, NY – Two members of the Alfred University women's indoor track and field team posted top-10 finishes in field events to lead the Saxons at Friday's Houghton College Highlander Invitational.
Sophomore
Brynn Hye (Homer, NY/Homer) took fifth place in the weight throw (12.25 meters), while freshman
Megan Sadowitz (Hopewell Junction, NY/John Jay) was sixth in the high jump.
Sadowitz was also 21
st in the 600-meter run (1:56.02) and freshman
Sophia Weiss (New Hyde Park, NY/New Hyde Park) was 16
th in the shot put (9.36 meters).
There were no team scores.
The AU women's indoor track and field team is in action next on Saturday, Jan. 30 at Brockport.
