COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Seven Alfred University field hockey players earned spots on the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad.
Paula Altschaft (Buffalo, NY/West Seneca West),
Claire Bialas (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley),
Isabella Casalinova (Bennington, VT/Mount Anthony Union),
Harper Cutting (Bernardston, MA/Franklin County Technical),
Mika Larrison (Centereach, NY/Centereach),
Izzy Santella (Middleport, NY/Royalton Hartland) and
Annie Smith (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) all earned spots on the NFHCA list, joining over 1,800 student-athletes from 147 institutions in the NCAA Division III and more than 3,300 students from across the entire NCAA. A student-athlete must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester in order to be nominated for this accolade.
They were joined by 10 SUNY Geneseo players, nine Hartwick College players, 17 Nazareth University players, 16 St. John Fisher University players, 10 SUNY Brockport players, five Russell Sage College players, eight Utica University players and five Elmira College players with no players being named from Keuka College and Houghton University.
