Milmoe Resigns as AU Field Hockey Coach

ALFRED, NY – Head field hockey coach Adair Milmoe announced her resignation effective February 13, 2026.

Milmoe has coached at the NCAA Division III level since 2001. In September of 2024, she was appointed as Alfred University's first field hockey coach. Milmoe led the recruiting efforts to field the inaugural team and managed all programmatic aspects of the sport addition to Alfred University.

In its inaugural season, the Saxons led the Empire 8 and finished second in the nation for saves per game, averaging 12.53 saves an outing. They had 11 of their 17 games record double-digit saves, with three late-season games featuring 20 or more saves and a season-high of 25 saves in a home game against St. John Fisher University.

Future Alfred University field hockey teams will compete at the new Saxon Hill Sports Complex which will celebrate a grand opening in the Fall of 2026.

In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Milmoe served on the athletic department's academic success committee.

A national search for a  Saxon field hockey head coach will begin immediately.
