ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University men's and women's swimming & diving teams were named to the Fall '24 College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America list.
To qualify for this recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. The Saxon women posted a 3.63 GPA last fall, while the men finished with a 3.31 GPA. Eight men and eight women were recognized for GPA's higher than 3.75 on their respective teams on the Empire 8 President's List. Both Alfred University and Hartwick College were the lone programs from the Empire 8 Conference to earn CSCAA Scholar All-America honors last spring, and were joined by SUNY Geneseo in being recognized last fall.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
