ROCHESTER, NY – The Alfred University men's swimming & diving team was represented by Jaxson McQuaid (Norwalk, CT/Norwalk) on Saturday during the NCAA Division III Region IV Diving Championships hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology on Saturday.
 
RIT hosted both the 3-meter diving and 3-meter diving events. McQuaid competed on the 1-meter board on Saturday. He scored 368.75 points to finish 12^th out of the 12 divers competing. He was less than 10 points away from taking 11^th place over Carnegie Mellon University's Nicholas Shuster who scored 378.05 points.
 
Alfred State College's Conor Compton won the Saturday event with 552.45 points, 22.80 points higher than second place Greg Meder from SUNY Geneseo and his 529.65 points.
