MEADVILLE, PA - The Alfred University Women's Track & Field Team competed in the Marty Goldberg Gator Invite at Alleghany College.

The Saxons were led by McKenzie Hall (Hornell, NY/Hornell), who won the 1500 meters with a time of 5:06.04. Mari Jablonski (Monticello, GA/Jasper County) placed second in the 5000 meters, breaking her PR with a time of 19:44.92. In the 3000 Steeplechase, Ashley O'Toole (Simi Valley, CA/Simi Valley) took third with a time of 13:24.25. Finally, Madison Palmer (East Aurora, NY/East Aurora) placed 7th in the Shot Put with a throw of 11.29m and placed 6th in the Women's Hammer with a throw of 41.96m.

"It was a long day in the sun for us," Head Coach Matt Phillips said. "Some people did well, while others are tired from a long season. It was a good experience for the small group that we took, as we prepare for regionals next week."
