ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University men's lacrosse team opened up its 2022 campaign with a home-opening win last week in which Justin Mosher (Hilton, NY/Hilton) was named one of the Empire 8 Men's Lacrosse Co-Players of the Week on Monday.
 
Mosher led the Saxons to a season-opening and home-opening win as they shutout Medaille College, 22-0 on Wednesday evening. He had game-highs in goals and assists as he totaled nine points from five assists and four goals. Only one of his shots on goal did not find the back of the net while an addition two shots were wide. One of his goals was man-up. Mosher rounded out his stats with four ground balls and two caused turnovers.
 
Mosher and the Saxons will next head to face New England College on Sunday, March 6 in Sparks, MD.
