GREENWOOD, IN – Six members of the Alfred University men's lacrosse team have been honored as College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections in the Men's At-Large category.

Ben Cunningham (Dover, MD/The Gunston School), Marcus Darminio (Marcellus, NY/Marcellus), Josh Funk (Newtown Square, PA/Maple Newton), Cole Loewke (Hilton, NY/Hilton), Ian Marsh (Corning, NY/Corning-Painted Post) and Brady McGowan (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) were the six Saxons to receive All-District recognition. 

"These six are the epitome of what a student-athlete is and they give their all on and off the field," Head Coach Jason Lockner said. "Their work ethic is exceptional. They understand that academics and athletic success go hand-in-hand."

The 2026 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
