UTICA, NY – The Alfred University men's track & field team completed the Utica College Holiday classic this weekend with a total of 20 points.
In the 600-meter run,
Steven Morrow (Dryden, NY/Dryden) came in second place for the Saxons with a time of 1:26.27.
Steven Jackson (Culpeper, VA/Eastern View) finished the 300-meter dash in fourth place with a time of 38.83.
George Mecca (Derby, NY/Eden) came in ninth place following his efforts in the 800-meter run, finishing with a time of 2:06.19.
Mecca and Morrow were joined by
Connor Kerr (Tioga, PA/Williamson) and
Jackson Trimboli (Arkport, NY/Arkport Central) in the 4x400 meter relay, as the Saxons placed fifth with a time of 3:38.15.
Alfred University will begin the 2022 year with a dual meet against RIT on January 15.
