"Getting back into meet mode, having had almost two weeks off was needed. The team performed well, we looked strong in the water despite being tired," Head Coach
Brian Striker said. "Coming into this meet, we talked a bit about this being the final dual meet leading into championships; the last chance to fine tune things in a competitive environment. This time of the year is tough to see peak performances, but we had some and that is pretty exciting. Going into taper, this program is in a great place and I look forward to having some great things to talk about at the end of February!"
Â
The Saxons will next going into training to prepare for the Empire 8 Championships held at Webster Aquatics Center. The four-day meet will begin on Wednesday, February 20 and end that Saturday. Alfred University is the host of the meet.
