ALFRED, NY -- The Empire 8 Athletic Conference selected Chris Doktor (Irondequoit, NY/Eastridge) as the Men's Lacrosse Goalie of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Doktor posted his first two wins of the season (2-0, 2-0 Empire 8) last week. He made one save against Houghton College after facing four shots and not allowing a goal in the first 15 minutes of the game. Doktor set a career-high in saves on Saturday when he stopped 12 of the 18 shots on goal against Fisher. He helped the Saxons defeat St. John Fisher College for the first time since 2004.
