ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University women's swimming and diving team topped University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on Friday evening in the Lebohner Pool, 124-59.

The Saxons got things started with a complete sweep of the 200 freestyle as
Kristin Brown (Olean,NY/Olean), Gina Artieri (Lockport, NY/Lockport) and
Jordan Little (Odessa, NY/Odessa-Montour) went one-two-three with times of 2:11.08, 2:16.91 and 2:19.61, respectively.
Zeruviah Adams (Wellsville, NY/Wellsville) won the 50 freestyle with a time of 27.03 while
Cassidy Jeche (Southbury, CT/Pomperaug) and
Ffion Collinsworth (Rochester, NY/Brighton) followed in third and fourth place.

Lauren Serotta (Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna) and
Megan Steen (Portsmouth, RI/Portsmouth) took first and second in the 400 individual medley, respectively. Serotta raced to a 5:14.44 while Steen followed with a 5:22.41. Later in the meet, the Saxons would take a one-two-three sweep again as Adams, Brown and
Olivia Piazza (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) swam times of 58.53, 58.58 and 1:00.37 in the 100 freestyle.

The rest of the Saxon races were all exhibition events.

The Saxons will next head to the University of Rochester for a tri-meet against them and Fredonia on Saturday, November 11 at 1 PM.
