ALFRED, NY -- Sophomore attack Jake Lynch (Whitney Point, NY/Whitney Point) was tabbed as the Empire 8 Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Lynch was crucial in the Saxons 2-1 spring break training week. He had back-to-back-to-back games with four goals and at least one assist. He totaled 12 goals and six assists on the week with a stellar, four-goal and three-assist performance against Hilbert College in the spring break finale. Lynch also played a big role in the Saxons' win over Merchant Marine Academy with his four goals off of eight shots (seven on goal) and added two assists in the 15-6 win. Lynch had four goals and one assist against Emmanuel College in an upsetting, 10-13 loss.


Lynch and the Saxons will next host Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday, March 19 at 1:00 pm.
