ALFRED, NY – Alfred University senior sprinter Miasia Hillman (Buffalo, NY/Hutch Tech) has been named the Empire 8 Conference Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Hillman was honored for her performance at the Ohio Wesleyan University Marv Frye Invitational on Saturday, when she won the 100-meter dash (12.76 seconds) and 200-meter dash (25.84 seconds).

It marks the second consecutive week Hillman has received top weekly women's track honors from the Empire 8. She won last week for winning the 100 meters and taking third in the 200 meters at Widener University.

The Saxons are in action again Wednesday, April 8, when they travel to Houghton College for a tri-meet with Alfred State College.
