ITHACA, NY – The Alfred University women's track & field team sent members to the Ithaca College In-Between Meet on Saturday.
Both
Natalya Ryckman (New Eagle, PA/Ringgold) and
Meridian Bremel (Reading, VT/Woodstock Union) each had a seventh place finish in the throws events to lead the field efforts. Ryckman threw a 44.86m (147'-2") in the hammer throw and Bremel threw a 36.35m (119'-3") in the discus.
Annabelle Townsend (Woodsville, NH/Woodsville) had the top finish on the track, running a 1:09.32 in the 400-meter hurdles to finish third while
Nyah Allen (Schenectady, NY/Mohonasen) followed in fifth place with a 1:11.39.
The Saxons will next head to Ursinus College for the All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Conference Outdoor Championships on Wednesday, May 13.
