ALFRED, NY -- Miasia Hillman (Buffalo, NY/Hutch Tech), a junior on the Alfred University women's outdoor track and field team, has been named Empire 8 Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week.

Hillman was honored for her performance at Saturday's Westminster College Invitational, when she won the 100-meter dash (12.60 seconds) and 200-meter dash (25.70 seconds). It marks the third straight week Hillman swept both events.

The AU men's and women's track and field teams compete next on Saturday, April 19, at the Empire 8 Conference championships at St. John Fisher College.
