ALFRED, NY—Junior guard Jerry Kincel (Moosic, PA/Riverside) has been named the AU Male Athlete of the Week following his performance in a pivotal matchup against Stevens Tech this past weekend.
 
Kincel scored 21 points, eclipsing his previous career-high of 17 points, which he met three times in his career. Kincel came off the bench to give a spark to the Saxons to help them grab an Empire 8 win and momentum for the upcoming weeks.
 
Kincel and the Saxons’ men’s basketball team return to action Fri. February 6th, when they play host to Nazareth College in the Terry S. Galanis Family Areana.
