First-year Madison Latrayni broke all of her career-highs this past week as she helped the Saxons break a 23-game losing streak that spanned three seasons. She totaled 12 goals, 19 draw controls, 11 ground balls, nine caused turnovers and two free-position goals. She first broke her career-high in goals and points against Hilbert College as she totaled four each in the Saxons’ 13-12 win on the road. She also broke her career-bests in ground balls with seven and draw controls with seven against the Hawks. Then, she scored every Saxon goal against The Sage Colleges with a career-high eight. She also scored her first free-position goals as she had two. Then she set her new career-best in draw controls with 12 as she tied the Alfred University school record in the category. Latrayni broke her career-best in caused turnovers with six in Empire 8 action.
