Matson led the scoring efforts for the Saxons in a 20-6 victory against New England College on Sunday evening. He finished with a game-high five goals across six shots. Matson also recorded one assist during a man-up situation in the first quarter. He was responsible for three points (two goals, one assist) inside the first nine minutes of the game. Matson scored once during a man-up situation in the third quarter.
