ALFRED, NY—Senior sprinter Miasia Hillman (Buffalo, NY/Hutch Tech) has been named the Alfred University Female Athlete of the Week.
 
Hillman earned this honor through her performance at the Empire 8 Indoor Track & Field Championships this past weekend. During her day she was crowned the Empire 8 Champion in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.90 seconds and placed second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.02, meeting ECAC qualifying standards for both events.
 
Hillman and the Saxons’ Indoor Track & Field team returns to action Sat. February 21^st at SUNY Brockport.
