2017-18: Broke his own school record in the heptathlon at the SPIRE NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Invitational (02.10.18) with 4,978 points, beating his 4,969 points set at the NCAA Division III National Championships last season and defeating three Division I athletes from Hampton University, Notre Dame and Penn State and was the nation's third highest performance of all collegiate levels (
click for release)...broke his own school record in the decathlon at the Kutztown University Mondschein Multi Invitational Maroon (04.13.18) with 6,598 points, topping Division I, II and III athletes as he won the title by over 588 points in both the Maroon and Gold Divisions...named the Co-Male Ideal Saxon, Alfred University Athletics' top honor given to the Student-Athlete who best represents the spirit, both in the classroom and in competition of what a Saxon should be as well as football's A.J. Before AU: Was a member of the track & field team at Corning Painted Post West High School in Corning, NY under coaches Cartwright and Melanson...2014 Section V Class A and STAC champion...placed 5th at the NYS Championship meet in the pentathalon in 2014.
Personal: A four-year honor roll student in high school and an athletic training major, Seth is son of Shannon Spicer.
