2016-17 Events of the Week: NYSCTC Outdoor Championships (Play of the Month - May/2016-17 Co-Play of the Year)

2017-18: Broke the outdoor 800-meter record with a time of 1:53.75 at Division II Bloomsburg University's Maroon Invitational (04.28.18), topping the previous, 31-year old mark of 1:53.90 set by Russell Young '87...earned Empire 8 Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week (02.19.18)...selected as the ECAC Division III North Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week (05.02.18)...named the Empire 8 Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week (04.30.18)...named a Saxon of the Week (02.05.18 and 04.30.18).

2016-17: Earned USTFCCCA Division III All-Atlantic Regional Team for the indoor season (03.06.17)...earned All-Empire 8 Outdoor Track and Field Second Team with his second place in the 800-meter run (04.22.17)...named GoSaxons.com Athlete of the Week (01.30.17 and 05.15.17).

2015-16: Named GoSaxons.com Athlete of the Week (04.25.16).

Before AU: Ran track at Clarence High School in Clarence, NY under coaches John Hunt and John McCuen...helped the Red Devils to Section VI titles in swimming, track and cross country.

Personal: A finance major, Erik is son of Rhonda and Ronald Diehl.
