KANSAS CITY, MO – United Soccer Coaches released its 2025-26 College Team Academic Award, recognizing the Alfred University women's soccer team for the ninth consecutive season.

The Saxons posted a 3.51 team GPA through the 2025-26 academic year to earn Team Academic honors. Alfred University has received recognition from United Soccer Coaches on 15 occasions, dating back to 2009.

"We're proud to see our team earn recognition with the Team Academic Award once again," Head Coach Craig Yanni said. "It speaks volumes about the dedication these student-athletes bring both in competition and in the classroom. Each year, they continue to define what it means to excel as student-athletes."

A total of 777 teams (326 men, 451 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year.

For a team to be considered for the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, it must have a composite team grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for all team members who appear on the official NCAA roster forms for the fall season.
