BALTIMORE, MD – The Alfred University hunt seat team finished ninth at the Goucher College Tournament of Champions on Saturday.
The Saxons were led by
Maggie Childs (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) who earned the blue ribbon in Open Over Fences. Both
Ani Sydorowych (Fayetteville, NY/Fayetteville-Manlius) and
Isabella Rabiner (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) earned third place ribbons. Sydorowych earned it in the Open Flat while Rabiner claimed hers in Intro.
Keira Sims (Corning, NY/Corning-Painted Post) placed fourth in Novice while
Stephen Kuss IV (Syracuse, NY/Cicero-North Syracuse) earned fifth place in Limit Flat. He also claimed sixth in Limit Fences while
Will Utzman (Fairport, NY/Fairport) earned two sixth place finishes between Intermediate Fences and Intermediate Flat.
The Saxons will next compete at a two-day show, hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology on Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12.
