"I am so proud of these guys for the work they have done in the classroom," Head Coach
Jake Fisler said. "It is one thing to succeed in the classroom, but to also do it while playing a sport at the collegiate level is extremely impressive and deserves recognition. As much as I care about their on-court success, Alfred University is setting up these student-athletes to accomplish their goals post-graduation and they will leave here with the skills to be successful. This is a great representation of our program and the team culture we are building."
To qualify as an All-Academic Team, the cumulative grade point average must be 3.20 or above with all varsity letter-winners being factored in for the current academic year. To qualify as a Scholar Athlete, each student-athlete must have been a varsity letter-winner, have a GPA of at least 3.50 for the current academic year, be listed on the institutional eligibility form and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters anytime between their first and senior years.
