ITHACA, NY -- The Alfred University hunt seat team finished its regular season third in the region at Cornell University on Sunday.

The Saxons had three riders qualify for Zones with Ella Thompson (Vancouver, WA/Virtual Learning Academy) leading the way in Open Over Fences, taking home the blue ribbon in the event. Maggie Childs (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) took second in Limit Flat. Isabella Rabiner (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) rounded out the qualifiers with her second place finish in Introductory.
