Amelia Booth (Staatsburg, NY/FDR) was named an Empire 8 Women's Lacrosse Co-Player of the Week on Monday.
Booth led the Saxons to a perfect 2-0 week against Elmira College and Allegheny College, as the team extended their winning streak to four games for the first time dating back to the 2002 season. Against the Soaring Eagles, Booth registered a game-high eight points from six goals and two assists. The senior additionally tallied 13 ground balls and a caused turnover. Booth was credited with 13 shots, with eight being on goal.
The following day against the Gators, Booth finished the game with seven goals along with one assist. She recorded 14 shots, with 11 being on goal. Booth additionally picked up six draw controls, a pair of ground balls and a caused turnover. Overall, Booth finished the week with 16 points from 13 goals and three assists. She ended the week with a .704 shot on goal percentage and a .481 shot percentage.
The award on Monday is Booth's fourth of her career at AU. She was also named a Saxon of the Week alongside
Jason Crocker (Oreland, PA/Springfield Township) of the men's track & field team.
