ALFRED, NY – Three members of the Alfred University men's basketball members were selected to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for Division III, as announced on Tuesday.
Kenneth Allison Jr (Troy, NY/Lansingburgh),
Robby Hicks (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) and
Oscar Wolter (Munich, Germany/Lycee Jean Renoir) all earned CSC All-District honors.
"I'm really happy for these guys," Head Coach
Erich Kaempffe said. "Oscar, KJ, and Robby are terrific ambassadors for our program – they all work so hard both on the court and in the classroom. They are very deserving of this recognition and set a great example for our younger players."
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
To qualify, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, hold a 3.50 or higher cumulative GPA, and must either participate in 90 percent of contests or start in 66 percent of contests.
