In addition, seven Saxons garnered NABC Honors Court recognition for their efforts in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. The representatives for Alfred University are
Zion Baitey (Morristown, NJ/Morristown),
Christopher Coyle (Livonia, NY/Livonia),
Tyler Curran (Allegany, NY/Allegany-Limestone),
Nolan Gilbert (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley),
Robby Hicks (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa),

"I am so proud of our guys for continuing to understand the importance of balancing competing on the court and competing in the classroom," Head Coach
Erich Kaempffe said. "Collectively, our guys are on a run of 10 straight semesters above a 3.2 team GPA - a tremendous accomplishment. And this group of individuals has gone above and beyond, and they deserve this recognition from the NABC."
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men's basketball programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
