WEBSTER, NY -- The Alfred University women's swimming & diving team continued its competition on the third day at the Empire 8 Championships.
"We had another great day at the pool, the team continues to perform at or above expectations," Head Coach

For the third consecutive day, combined between the men and women, a school record was broken.
Elizabeth Share (Macedon, NY/Palmyra-Macedon) continued to lead the way with the record in the 100-yard backstroke A-Final. She broke it with a 57.62, just shy of the top step of the podium.

Maureen Derry (Asheville, NC/Asheville),
Isobel Anderegg (Wellsboro, PA/Wellsboro Area), and
Sarah Anderson (Wayne, PA/Radnor). They came home with a time of 1:51.64.
In the other individual B-Finals,
