ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University women's basketball team will host its Breast Cancer Awareness game against Nazareth University on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
 
The Saxons are partnering with Team Roswell for Schools Against Cancer. All proceeds will go to the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute of Buffalo. 

Globally, many people are affected by a variety of cancers, with over 2 million new cases expected this year. Players and coaches of the Alfred University women's basketball team currently have or have recently had family members battling cancer.
 
Fans are encouraged to support the Saxons in raising money for research and programming to combat this disease. Donations can be made at this link.
