ALFRED, NY – Alfred University women's basketball guard Jaidyn Chest (Mayfield, NY/Mayfield) was selected by the Empire 8 as Co-Player of the Week for the second time this season on Monday.

The junior earns the honor two weeks after receiving her first on Nov. 17.

Chest racked up a season-high 23 points, one point short of matching her career high, in AU's dominating 79-41 victory at Pitt-Bradford on Tuesday. She shot a season-high 9-of-14 from the field and a career-high 5-of-9 at the 3-point line. Chest has now recorded back-to-back 20+ point performances and three overall this season. She also added four rebounds, three assists and three steals to her stat line.   

Chest shares E8 Co-Player of the Week with Vanessa Hall of Utica University. She was also selected Saxon of the Week with Zion Baitey (Morristown, NJ/Morristown).
