ROCHESTER, NY -- The Alfred University hunt seat equestrian team concluded its weekend at Nazareth University as the Reserve High Point Team on Sunday afternoon.

The Saxons were led by Maggie Childs (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) as the Reserve High Point Rider, having won both Open Flat and Open Fences. Will Utzman (Fairport, NY/Fairport) won Limit Flat for the second day in a row. Ellie Smith (Hyde Park, MA/Boston Latin School) won Novice, Hannah Hughes (Clark Summit, PA/Abington Heights) took the blue ribbon in her Novice class and Madison Smith (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) closed out the Saxons who earned first place finishes, picking up a victory in Introductory.

Childs and Utzman, along with Ani Sydorowich (Fayetteville, NY/Fayetteville) all qualified for Regionals.
