SELINSGROVE, PA – The Alfred University men's track & field team competed in the Jim Taylor Invitational, hosted by Susquehanna University on Saturday.
The Saxons were all-around putting up good marks and times. "Everything that was put forth by the men today was a direct representation on how hungry they are," Assistant Coach
Chris Boswell said. "There were moments where they were beating themselves up mentally in one event and then they turned around and had a breakout event that resulted in times and marks that get them completely out of their own heads. The men will produce great results when the time comes for E8's and I'm sure of this with how hard they are working in training and how they're getting mentally tougher each and every week."
Zion Baitey (Morristown, NJ/Morristown) recorded two third place finishes between the long jump and 400-meter dash.
