ROCHESTER, NY – The Alfred University men's track & field team wrapped up the regular season portion of its indoor schedule with a Conference Tune-Up Meet, hosted by Nazareth University on Friday evening.
 
The Saxons had two Top-10 finishes on the evening during the large indoor meet. Jacob Taylor (Cohocton, NY/Avoca) had the top performance, running in the 1,000-meter run for an eighth place finishing time of 2:43.34. Jason Crocker (Oreland, PA/Springfield Township) had the only field event finish in the Top-10 with his ninth place finish in the shot put, tossing it out to 12.86m (42'-2.25").
 
The Saxons will next turn their sights toward the Empire 8 Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Houghton University on Friday and Saturday, February 23 and 24. Friday's events start at 4:00pm and Saturday's will begin at 10:00am.
